For many of the enslaved Africans, American slavery was one of the best things to happen to them — and this remains true for many of their descendants.

This is the Christian position.

Seldom are physically weak men doctrinally sound Christians.

Gender is really a rather simple matter:

Look down while taking a shower.

(If you’re still unsure, lose weight.)

Women who go to breweries and order wine are not to be trusted.

The Jews do not worship God.

The same is true of an African in the West.

I will never be Chinese. I could move to China; I could learn Chinese; I could adopt Chinese mannerisms, culture, and practices; I could even call myself Chinese, but that would not make it so. Even had I been born in China, I would not thereby be Chinese.

And, yes, I would absolutely say the same thing if someone were selecting only White faces to represent an overwhelmingly, e.g., Japanese synod (God willing).

The Gospel does not destroy nature, but restores it — and the nations are part of God’s good order.

The LCMS is overwhelmingly White.

The persons responsible for selecting promotional images for LCMS, CPH, et cetera, materials are in open, unrepentant, high-handed sin.
