A little historical reminder: One of the first large-scale genocides[1] enacted by the Jews was against other (former) Jews. Part of the rebellion of the Jews against Rome was the slaughter of those Jews who had converted to Christianity. So, if you are wondering why there are so few formerly Jewish Christians, now you know: The other Jews — their erstwhile brothers — murdered them en masse.
