I do not find the question of whether or not Christians may resist — or even revolt — to be particularly interesting (because the answer is so obvious); rather, I find interesting the question of when Christians *must* resist or revolt.

Democratic governance is a judgement from God.

Clearly, Rome’s destruction of souls is her worst sin, but her destruction of minds is no less egregious, and surely no less damaging to society and civilization.

Scale of 1 to 10, how hard is it to get up after sitting on the floor for more than five minutes?

Everyone deserves to die.

Some people deserve to die by the hands of men.

The man who opens the gate is no better than the monster he thereby admits.

The fundamental conceit of Liberalism is that evil deserves an equal hearing with the good and the true.

So, Lutheran pastors: If you have political questions, you undoubtedly have ready access to Confessional Lutherans who understand the issues better than you do — talk to them.
