Eisegesis has millions reading this as if it refers to the nation-state of Israel.

“I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.”

This is not limited to the Church.

‘I believe concubinage is permitted by Scripture.’ ≠ ‘I want concubines.’

‘I believe slavery is permitted by Scripture.’ ≠ ‘I want slaves.’

Sometimes, it really is just about defending God’s Word.

If your church attendance is heavily skewed toward women, you’ve failed as a pastor and you should repent and throw yourself on God’s mercy.

The single greatest growth opportunity for the Church in the West is Right-aligned young men who have been, effectively, shut out of the system and maligned for years.
