If only American ‘Christians’ could muster half the energy they display when denying the Scriptural teaching on slavery to defend the actual teachings of Scripture.

You cannot be a Lutheran and a Millenarian — our Confession explicitly (and summarily) rejects that Judaizing nonsense.

The US had an equivalent of the French Revolution — in which we rejected authority, order, decency, and God — only we called it a “Civil War” instead of a revolution.

The Thirty Years’ War should be commemorated on the calendar of saints.
