It may be that individuals do not speak with the voices of their respective churches, but, where individuals espouse false doctrine, they do indeed speak the shame of their churches.

Despite much protestation, confusion, dissimulation, and calumny, this truth remains:

“Lutheran” does not mean ‘member of a body claiming to be Lutheran’; “Lutheran” does mean ‘quia subscriber to the Book of Concord’.

For woman, voting is sinful, unless undertaken in accordance with the direction of her head — for the wife, her husband, for the maid, her father.

Voting is exercising headship.

All truth is one. To yield any one truth anywhere is to, ultimately, yield all truth everywhere.

Let all men be liars, yet we can trust the words of Christ, and He says:

“This is My body. This is My blood.”

Christ is truly present in His Supper.

To believe otherwise is to call Him a liar.

To believe otherwise is to denigrate the clear teaching of Scripture.

To believe otherwise is to endanger your soul.

Show me a man who cries out for ‘rights’ and I will show you a man who neglects his duties.

We pray that the Baptists, in their heterodoxy, do not have the Eucharist, but we fear that they may.

If you have a ‘hot take’ on theology or doctrine after (nearly) two thousand years of the post-Pentecost Church, then it’s not a hot take — it’s heresy.
